No data beyond what you explicitly enter is transmitted. * On public-facing pages, the plugin loads a JavaScript file from https://api.readwithacta. com to render the checkout UI, and Stripe.js (https://js.stripe.com/v3/) for secure payment processing. * When you delete the plugin, it sends your site URL, publisher ID and secret key to https://api.readwithacta.com so Acta stops serving the paywall on your site and stops taking payments it can no longer fulfil. I know there are other plugins that promote similar functions, but those require user to pay a fee! I hope this plugin stays free, or at least didn’t put the existing functions behind paywall. The customer support is great too! Just email them if you have a question. This is a new plugin so you won’t find any articles and forum discussions about it.
