animated-gif-resize

I do not see the change in colours like others are reporting, but I have a different problem. The last frame of the generated GIF is missing a lot of pixels, something like 40%. I tried also regenerating the thumbnails with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/, but it is not working... Maybe it has to do with some server configurations? Does anyone know?

I just tested this on Wordpress 4.4.1 and it caused an error that blocked gif uploads all together.
