Askora is building a full protection layer: an invisible honeypot field that catches most bots with no setup, optional Google reCAPTCHA v2 for an extra layer, per-user submission rate limiting, a profanity filter with a configurable word list, and an email blocklist and allowlist so known spammers are blocked and trusted senders skip moderation entirely. #### Customizable design, built to match your store Askora inherits your brand instead of imposing its own. Change the brand colour, corner radius (sharp, rounded, or pill), avatar style, card style, font, and text density from Settings, with a live preview before you save. The Q&A section ends up looking like it was designed for your store, because with a few clicks, it was. #### What’s next for this product question and answer plugin These aren’t vague promises. They’re already in progress: * AI-powered answer suggestions, using your own OpenAI key (coming soon) * An analytics dashboard with response times, top questions, and full customer and product Q&A history (coming soon) * SEO structured data (JSON-LD), so answered questions can appear as rich results in Google search (coming soon) * Follow-up questions, letting the original asker ask one clarifying question after their answer (coming soon) * A “My Questions” tab inside WooCommerce My Account (coming soon) * CSV import and export for migrations and backups (coming soon) * Shortcode and Gutenberg block placement, for page builders and custom layouts( coming soon) * Multilingual support via WPML and Polylang (coming soon) None of this sits behind a paywall. When a user submits a question on a WooCommerce product page, the following occurs: * The Google reCAPTCHA JavaScript library is loaded from: https://www.google.com/ recaptcha/api.js * The user’s reCAPTCHA response token is sent to Google’s verification server at: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api/siteverify * The user’s IP address is transmitted to Google as part of the verification process. This means data (including IP address and reCAPTCHA response tokens) is sent to Google’s servers when a user interacts with the Q&A submission form. Go to **Plugins Add New**, search for “Askora”, and click **Install Now**, then** Activate**. 2. The Q&A section appears automatically on your product pages with sensible defaults already set. 3. Visit **Askora Settings** to choose who can ask, how questions get moderated, and how the widget looks on your store. #### Manual upload 1. Upload the `quick-qa-for-woocommerce` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory. 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress. 3. The Q&A tab will appear automatically on WooCommerce product pages. ## FAQ ### What is a product QA plugin, and why would my WooCommerce store need one? A product QA plugin adds a question-and-answer section to your product pages, so shoppers can ask something specific before buying instead of emailing you or leaving. It’s a different job from reviews, which only capture opinions after a purchase. ### Does Askora replace WooCommerce reviews? No. It runs alongside your existing reviews. Most stores use both together: reviews for post-purchase opinions, Askora for pre-purchase questions. ### Can customers ask questions without creating an account? Yes, if guest questions are enabled in Settings. Guests provide a name and email so they can be notified once their question is answered. ### Who is allowed to answer a question? Your store staff always can. You can also allow verified buyers, logged-in customers, or both, and each answer carries a badge showing which one they are. ### Will this slow down my product pages? No. Assets only load on pages where the Q&A widget is active, and the widget itself is lightweight. ### Is Askora actually free? Yes.
