Quivo Chat connects your WordPress site to your Quivo AI assistant. Once you enter your Quivo assistant ID, a chat bubble appears on the front end of your site so visitors can ask questions and get instant answers from your assistant.
The assistant itself (its knowledge, documents, language and behaviour) is configured in your Quivo account at https://quivo.be. This plugin simply loads the hosted Quivo widget on your pages — it does not add, limit or gate any functionality on your site.
Features
- One field to connect: paste your assistant ID (the
data-botvalue from your embed snippet). - Enable or disable the chat bubble with a single checkbox.
- Optional accent colour override (otherwise it uses the colour set in your Quivo account).
- Optional language: automatic (visitor browser), French, Dutch or English.
- Loads only on the front end, deferred, so it never slows down page rendering.
External service
This plugin loads the Quivo chat widget from https://quivo.be/quivo/widget.js and the assistant runs on Quivo’s servers. By enabling the widget, visitor chat messages are sent to Quivo to be answered.

Instalación
- Upload the plugin to your site (Plugins Add New Upload Plugin) and activate it.
- Go to Settings Quivo Chat.
- Paste your Quivo assistant ID (the
data-botvalue from your Quivo embed snippet). - Tick “Enable chat widget” and save.
- Visit the front end of your site — the chat bubble appears in the corner.

Where do I find my assistant ID?

Log in to your Quivo account at https://quivo.be, open your assistant, and look at the embed snippet. The value of
data-botis your assistant ID. -
Does this plugin store any data on my site?

No. It only stores your plugin settings (assistant ID, colour, language). Chat conversations are handled by Quivo.

Can I change the colour or language?

Yes, both are optional fields on the settings page. If you leave the colour empty, the widget uses the colour configured in your Quivo account.
